We are here to serve this city.

We, the members of Hillcrest, believe in and put into practice the commands of Jesus. The final command that Jesus gave before ascending into Heaven was this, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all taht I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age" (Matthew 28:18-20).
Teaching people about Jesus and leading to be faithful followers of Christ begins in our own community. This is why we make ourselves present and available in the community, ready with the Good News of the saving grace of Jesus. All of our endeavors in the community are designed for this great purpose: to love the Lord with all our being and to love our neighbors as ourselves.

Lamar University Baptist Student Ministry luncheon We will be serving lunch at the Lamar University BSM throughout the school year. We need dozens of freshly baked brownies to serve for dessert. If you are interested in volunteering with the BSM team please register below.

Christmas Shoeboxes - Kick-off the holiday season this November by helping collect items and fill shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child.
