Men's Ministry

1. Submission

Biblical men lead their families and communities under the lordship of Christ, recognizing that all authority flows from God the Father. Submission begins with repentance and faith in Christ as the head of the church and continues through the daily guidance of the Holy Spirit. A biblical man models this submission by humbling himself before God, relying on His grace, and leading others in faithfulness to Scripture.

2. Discipleship

Biblical men are called to obey Christ’s command in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) by making disciples in their homes, churches, and communities. Discipleship begins with teaching their families the doctrines of grace, leading them in family worship, and equipping them to grow in holiness. In the local church, men are called to mentor and disciple other men, encouraging accountability and fostering growth in Christlikeness. 

3. Shepherding

Biblical men are tasked with lovingly shepherding their wives and children. Men are the protectors, providers, and spiritual leaders who imitate Christ’s sacrificial love for the church (Ephesians 5:25). Biblical men are to faithfully lead their families to prioritize corporate worship and service within the local church. Leadership is not domineering but marked by humility, servant-heartedness, and accountability to pastors and elders.

4. Commitment

The Word of God is the ultimate standard for all faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Biblical men must be devoted to studying and applying Scripture in their daily lives. Biblical men lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to sound doctrine, regular prayer, and teaching God’s truth in their homes. The Bible equips them to lead in righteousness, discernment, and integrity as they fulfill their God-given responsibilities.
