We are not only expanding our school, but changing our name to Hillcrest Christian Academy. LEARNING HANDS PRESCHOOL
Hillcrest Mother’s Day Out began in August 1992 with the approval and blessing of our congregation. Learning Hands Preschool is viewed as a ministry of our church under our Children’s Ministry Program. We strive to provide a regular association with other children of the same age in a Christian atmosphere. This Christian atmosphere will aid the children in their growth spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically.

At Learning Hands Preschool we develop our ministry around the nurture and enrichment of Christian values and love. Weekly chapel services are held each Thursday at 9:15 a.m. for all students. Parents are always welcome to attend our chapel time.

Learning Hands Preschool/Hillcrest Christian Academy is a Christian-based program for ages 2 through Kindergarten (as of September 1, 2023). We offer 4-day a week classes for all students.
Students attend class Monday-Thursday, September through May. Class times are 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (for 2 years to PreK) and 9:00 AM – 2:15 PM (Kindergarten). We follow the Nederland ISD school schedule for most holidays and school closures.
