Dear Parents/Guardians,
Matthew transitioned from the genealogy of Jesus to the story of Jesus’ birth. Joseph heard of Mary’s pregnancy and planned to quietly end their engagement. But Joseph’s plan was not God’s plan. God spoke to Joseph through a dream and instructed him to marry Mary and name her baby Jesus. Read what the angel revealed about Jesus in Matthew 1:21. Then discuss the questions. We had several kiddos twinning today so we took the opportunity to take some photos! Mrs. Barb is teaching the kids the memory verse with hand motions. We also practiced the song “The First Noel” that the children will be singing on December 18 along with the HCA K/1 students!
Such a fun and busy season! I regret to inform you that we won’t be participating in the Christmas parade this year.
We have some very amazing children. It's such a joy to interact with them as we learn about Jesus our beloved Messiah and King.
